Project “Vozes de Lagos sing the 25th of April” pays musical tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Revolution

Musical tribute to the historical and cultural legacy of the 25th of April

The show of the project “Vozes de Lagos sing the 25th of April” is scheduled for April 27th, at 21 pm, at Praça do Infante, in Lagos, organized by the Orquestra Ligeira de Lagos.

It is a musical tribute to the historical and cultural legacy of the 25th of April, in the voices of Gabriel Fialho, Marta Alves, José Ribeiro and Marta Rodrigues, singers from Lacobrigens.

With production and artistic direction by Rita Rodrigues and musical direction by Paul Carter, the show promises «an unforgettable experience», with the special participation of Vítor do Carmo, on Portuguese guitar, João Silva, on Glockenspiel, from the Gwen Ballet Studio Morris and the Folkloric and Ethnographic Ranch of Odiáxere.

The presentation will be in charge of Eunice Caldeira, «providing an engaging narrative throughout the night».

A careful selection of songs, in Big Band arrangements, by Paul Carter, Nestor Diaz, Marta Rodrigues, Francisco Nogueira, Dinis Costa and Ricardo Pires promise «a journey to the 25th of April and the hot years of the revolution».
