Olhão will have lots of music in the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April

Between the 28st and the 30th of April

The 50th anniversary of the 25th of April will be celebrated in Olhão between the 19th and 30th of this month, with a program that includes exhibitions, cinema sessions, theater, music, lectures, debates and book presentations.

In music, the highlight is the show “A Mulher é uma Arma”, which will bring together Ana Bacalhau, Katia Guerreiro, Rita Redshoes and Viviane at the Maria Barroso Municipal Auditorium, on April 21st, at 18:30 pm.

The same cultural space will host, on the 19th, at 18:30 pm, the concert staged “25 de Abril, como eu vivi o”, with José Jorge Letria.

On April 20th, at 16:30 pm, the municipality presents Cátia Guerreiro’s work “A Poesia do Luto”. Two hours later, Domingos Caetano takes the Auditorium stage to “Cantar Abril”.

On April 25th, the celebration program begins with the raising of flags in the Town Hall square, at 9:30 am. At 11 am, the Municipal Auditorium hosts the official ceremony marking the celebrations of the 00th anniversary of the 50th of April.

On the afternoon of April 28th, at 18:30 pm, Júlio Resende brings “Fado Jazz – Sons of the Revolution” to the Maria Barroso Municipal Auditorium.
