Loulé doctor Henrique Farrajota Seruca will present the book “Chronicles of a life” this Tuesday, April 9, at 18:30 pm, at the Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen Municipal Library, in Loulé.
“Chronicles of a Life” is a collection of many stories lived by the author throughout the 20th century and the first quarter of the 21st century.
«Some show the misery of human society on three continents, but others are frankly unexpected and hilarious. The experiences of the humblest human strata and prominent personalities at the top of society are told, from gypsies to millionaires, scientists, artists, politicians», says the Câmara de Loulé.
Henrique José Farrajota Ramos Seruca was born in Loulé, on September 25, 1943.
He graduated in Medicine and specialized in Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Urology. A member of several national and international medical societies, he was the author of numerous communications and scientific publications in Portugal and abroad. Being also an art connoisseur and scholar, he published several research works on late-Gothic painting, Renaissance goldsmithing and medieval armory.
The presentation of the work will be in charge of João Chagas Aleixo. Entry is free.
