The Lícíadas Competition, a cultural and sporting event from the João de Deus School Group, takes the stage at Teatro das Figuras, in Faro, on Friday, April 19, at 19 pm.
The best participants in the competition are presented in the large auditorium for a show of dance, singing, music, theater, reading, video, solidarity and creativity.
Around 200 students, teachers, parents and staff take the stage, in a night of talent, emotions, art, culture and many surprises.
The Gala is «a celebration of the students' dedication and their commitment to excellence», highlights the School Group.
This year, the event will feature a special exhibition of selected works, «highlighting the hard work and creativity of the students which, with dedication and passion», will be shared with the community on Friday night.
«The Licíadas Gala is a testimony to the power of education in nurturing creativity, empathy and community spirit», said professor Carlos Luís, director of the João de Deus School Group.
“We are incredibly proud of our students and the positive impact on the community through their commitment and solidarity initiatives,” he added.
