The most emblematic places in the town of Castro Marim will be the setting for this year's edition of the Algarve Regional Meeting of School Sports on Wheels which will take place on the 24th of April, between 10am and 00pm.
The event will take place in the form of a bicycle tour, with a training nature, with the aim of bringing together all Algarve School Sports On Wheels MTB groups and teams and providing a cultural moment and interaction between students and teachers, respecting nature , fauna and flora.
The participation of 18 groups of schools in the Algarve region is expected, with around 250 students from the 5th to the 12th year of schooling, who will travel a route of around 13 kilometers, with a low level of physical and technical difficulty.
This initiative is organized by the D. José I School Group of Vila Real de Santo António and the School Sports Coordination of the Regional Directorate of Regional Services of the Algarve, with the support of the Municipality of Castro Marim.
