EMARP exhibits work by children from the Kindergarten at EB da Pedra Mourinha

The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday

The exhibition “A Caixa… Tells a story”, which brings together works made by children from Room 1 of group A, from the Kindergarten of EB da Pedra Mourinha, in Portimão, will be on display until May 3, at EMARP – Empresa Municipal of Portimão Water and Waste.

The idea for the project, coordinated by educator Fernanda Lima Duarte, together with operational assistant Lucília Duarte, came up at a parents' meeting at the beginning of the school year.

The objective is to «value the cultural diversity of the group of children through traditional tales from the different countries where the families originate», says EMARP.

From “Snow White”, through the legend of Praia da Rocha, to the Romanian folk tale “Punguța cu doi bani”, the exhibition offers, through drawings and colorful collages, a set of works rich in stories and creative details.

The main objective of carrying out initiatives of this type is to promote an inclusive and family-friendly school, where everyone has a role to play and feels welcome.

The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday, between 8:30 am and 17:00 pm, in the EMARP public service area.
