A 26-year-old man was arrested due to strong evidence of having participated in a robbery of a woman in December 2022, in Faro.
According to the Judiciary Police (PJ), on that day both this young man and other suspects – one of whom had also already been arrested – approached a woman as she was about to drive off with her car.
Threatening her with an alleged firearm, they coerced her into “giving them the goods she possessed, including payment cards that she used to purchase services on online platforms.”
The detainee will be present for the first judicial interrogation, to apply coercive measures.
