Cardinal D. Manuel Clemente, Patriarch Emeritus of Lisbon, will speak about “The contribution of the Church in Europe: Past, Present and Future” on the 9th of May, starting at 21:15 pm, at the Parish Church of Monte Gordo.
The initiative takes place within the scope of Europe Day.
According to the organization, the objective is to reflect, with the help of D. Manuel Clemente, «about the presence of the Church in Europe and how its contribution has changed over time, particularly in social, economic and political matters, in order to build a worthy city of man founded on the Social Doctrine of the Church”.
