Zoomarine summer camps are open for registration

Programs will start on July 1st and start at 150 euros

Zoomarine Algarve has already opened registrations for another edition of its summer camps, taking place between July 1st and September 6th.

Aimed at children between 6 and 15 years old, the summer camps will feature three different programs, lasting five days, and aim to raise awareness and environmental education, in addition to promoting fun moments.

According to the ages and interests of the youngest, the theme park has prepared three major offers: the Zoomarine Guardians program, Sam's Club and Boa Onda.

In the program Sam's Club, lasting five days, participants will be able to enjoy swimming pools and water areas, entertainment, zoological presentations, visits to habitats and educational activities, related to the animals they will meet during the week, reinforcing fundamental behaviors for the protection of nature .

already the program Guardians of Zoomarine, in addition to including all the activities of the Clube do Sam modality, it also offers the opportunity to explore some private behind-the-scenes areas and speak to technicians from different areas, to understand their daily lives and the fundamental role they play in the care and well-being -being of Zoomarine residents and visitors.

Finally, the park will also feature the program Good wave, aimed at an exclusive group of 8 children per week, between 10 and 15 years old, in which participants will be able to enjoy all Zoomarine activities, participate in awareness-raising activities for the protection of the Oceans and will also have 3 dedicated mornings surfing, at Praia da Galé, with the support of a surf teacher.

The programs will take place between 9:00 am and 17:45 pm, from Monday to Friday, with a total of 72 weekly places, distributed across the three existing options. Prices start at 150 euros. Entries can be made by clicking here.

In parallel to the summer camp, Zoomarine also carries out other educational activities throughout the year for the youngest: the “At Night at the Aquarium” initiative, in which children can enjoy games and fun moments near the aquarium.” oceanus” and learn interesting facts about the species that live there, including sharks; and “The Secret Life at the Zoo”, aimed at the school community, who can discover the park, sleep there and get to know the resident species better.

Zoomarine's summer camps and initiatives aimed at younger people are seen by the park as «a way of promoting environmental education and the defense and guarantee of animal welfare among children, these themes being inseparable from Zoomarine's mission».

In addition, this offer also provides «a social response to the community's great demand for fun, educational and safe programs, where parents can leave their children during the school holidays».
