International GT Open Championship starts new year in the Algarve

Free access to the main stand and tickets for 10 euros for the paddock

The International GT Open kicks off its 2024 season on the 27th and 28th of April, on the demanding 4653 meters of the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve route, where it was held for the first time in 2010.

In what will be the first of eight rounds of this competitive championship born in 2006, the 2024 new features will be seen for the first time in competition.

The program will put on the track not only drivers and machines from the International GT Open, but also competitors from the Euroformula Open, GT Cup Europe, Alpine ELF Europa Cup and Clio Cup Series, categories that will hold races both on Saturday (27 April) and on Sunday 28th April, with a total of 11 races scheduled.

21 teams, representing eight different manufacturers, are registered for the International GT Open 2024, in a lineup that will place almost a hundred drivers on the track, in a championship that, once again, is expected to be very competitive at all times.

Tickets for this first event of the International GT Open cost 10 euros for the paddock, while the Main Stand will have free access throughout the weekend, and can be purchased at http://aia.bymeoblueticket.pt
