“Stress vs Anxiety: How to deal with it?” is the theme of another conversation in the cycle “Sow Today…Reap Tomorrow…”, which will take place at the Municipal Library of Loulé, on April 19th, at 18:30 pm, and will have Helena Pinto as a guest.

«Anxiety and stress are two emotional conditions that usually arise in response to challenging life situations. Although they are often confused, there are differences between them. Anxiety is characterized by a feeling of excessive worry and apprehension about the future, often accompanied by physical symptoms. On the other hand, stress is a physical and emotional response resulting from external factors», explains the Câmara de Loulé.

Dealing with these emotions “involves a multifaceted approach that includes relaxation techniques, a healthy lifestyle and social and professional support. By adopting these strategies, it is possible to reduce the negative effects of these conditions and promote emotional and mental well-being».

Helena Pinto has a degree in Clinical and Health Psychology, with an advanced specialty in Psychotherapy and EMDR Therapist.

The conversation cycle “Sow Today…Reap Tomorrow…” «intends to challenge the general public to share and reflect on various topics, with the main objective of promoting the empowerment and general well-being of each person, as well as of respective families”.

During the initiative, participants will be able to provide their children, aged 3 years or over, with participation in an activity dedicated to promoting books and reading promoted by Library professionals, upon prior registration.

Participation is free, subject to registration. through this link.
