The Library of the University of Algarve will promote, on the 10th and 11th of April, in Auditorium 1.4 of the Pedagogical Complex of the Penha Campus, the II Mediterranean Cinemas International Colloquium.
This initiative, which aims to promote intercultural dialogue and stimulate debate about cinema produced by Mediterranean countries, has the participation of two dozen researchers from the United Kingdom, Italy and France. Spain, Croatia, Portugal and Brazil.
On the 10th, the colloquium will take place between 14:00 pm and 18:00 pm and on the 11th, between 9:45 am and 18:00 pm.
In this context, it will also be possible to visit the bibliographic exhibition “Popular Genres and Transnational Cinema in Mediterranean Europe”, on view at the Library on the Penha Campus, until April 12th.
