The rehabilitation work on the Covate water reservoir, which serves the Igreja Nova area and part of the town of Aljezur, will begin soon, following a recently signed contract.
The intervention, which will cost 246 thousand euros, aims to “improve and ensure greater safety in the water distribution network” in the area it serves.
«In this way, another important work will begin on municipal assets, within the scope of the domestic water distribution network. After several investments in other equipment of this kind, it is now this deposit's turn to be subject to rehabilitation», according to Aljezur City Council.
The estimated completion time for the work is around 150 days, that is, five months.
