In another edition of LÁBIA Week

More than 120 graduates from the Algarve School of Innovation and Creation Technologies (ETIC_Algarve) developed work for six local institutions in another edition of LÁBIA Week.

For ETIC_Algarve, LÁBIA Week «is always a moment of special significance, with an impact on our trainees, since the members of the 2-year technical course classes are integrated into interdisciplinary working groups, promoting the interconnection of skills , creative areas and also the development of social skills, putting your know-how at the service of society».

On these days, 10 classes from the Directing, Cinema and TV courses; Communication and Multimedia Design; Video Games; Creation, Production and Sound Techniques; and Professional Photography came together to create projects and digital products – such as logos and visual identity, photographs, motion design, advertising and institutional videos, among others – for these institutions.

Alongside these projects, computers were also donated to some of the institutions with the aim of later training more beneficiaries.

«Throughout the week, the trainees worked closely with representatives of these institutions to understand their needs and develop creative solutions that met their expectations and needs», says ETIC Algarve.

«This week was a unique opportunity for our trainees to apply their knowledge and creativity, in a real context of teamwork, which brought together trainees from different courses, from the 1st and 2nd years, promoting at the same time their technical, professional and social”, said Nuno Ribeiro, Director of ETIC_Algarve, reinforcing that the school “is extremely proud of the professionalism, specialization and creativity demonstrated by the trainees during this Week”.

For the beneficiary institutions, the results were “impressive and leave us with few words to describe the commitment and professionalism”.

With the end of LÁBIA Week, ETIC_Algarve emphasizes that it will continue to work in collaboration with these institutions to ensure continued involvement and the successful implementation of the projects developed by the trainees.
