Vila Real de Santo António returns to Respirar Arte, between the 12th and 27th of March 2024, with the third edition of the «RespirArte» project, which this year has as its theme the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April.
«The initiative aims to give a voice to students, teachers and the school community, within the scope of different disciplinary and curricular areas, and aims to develop activities that stimulate and reinforce cultural and artistic habits, offering a range of diverse events», emphasizes the municipality in note.
«RespirArte» is also open to the community, making it possible to watch, in indoor and outdoor spaces in the city, a range of shows that will cover artistic expressions such as dance, theater and poetry, as well as painting, drawing, through music, sculpture and video.
«This is an initiative in which the municipality, in close collaboration with the entire school community, contributes to the dissemination of good educational practices and shares with the population the quality of students' performance in the school context», says Álvaro Araújo, president of the Vila Real de Santo António Chamber.
The «RespirArte» project is developed by the municipality, in partnership with the Vila Real de Santo António School Group, the D. José I School Group and the municipality's clubs and associations.
Entrance is free to all activities (the shows on the 20th and 21st of March are subject to prior collection of tickets), inviting residents and visitors to join the celebration of art, culture and freedom in Vila Real de Saint Anthony.
