Actions to boost local commerce and restaurants, shows and workshops: the Municipality of Vila Real de Santo António will celebrate the arrival of Spring with another edition of «Spring in Festa», between the 25th and 31st of March.
The initiative will take place in the historic center of the city, with lots of colors, sounds, smells and joy and will involve local clubs and associations.
In a statement, the municipality emphasizes that «Primavera em Festa» aims to boost local commerce and the restoration of the VRSA Open Air Shopping Center.
Between the 25th and 30th of March there is “Moda à Porta”, with windows full of new products and fashion shows through the streets of Vila Real de Santo António, with collection presentations.
The “Gastronomic Memorial” takes place from the 28th to the 31st of March, with restaurant establishments offering a unique gastronomic experience, where local flavors will be celebrated and appreciated
Dance performances, including acrobatic gymnastics, hip hop and contemporary dance, performed by students from the Academia de Ballet Contemporâneo and Escola de Dança Splash are scheduled for the 29th.
On the 29th and 30th there are also “Children's Ateliers” for children to explore their creativity, guided by educator Mariana Santos and from the 29th to the 31st the fun is guaranteed with outdoor games and activities.
On the 30th there is also a series of lively activities, including an Easter egg hunt by the Scout Association Group 60, workshops with the Scout Group 1370 and music and dance performances by the Contemporary Ballet Academy and VRSA Regional Conservatory.
The “Estendal de Fotografia” exhibition, organized by the 1/4 Escuro Association, can be visited on the 30th and 31st of March.
