There are unusual scenes, explosions, buckets on the head and broken dishes. “Der Lauf” which, in Portuguese, means “The Race” is the name of the new circus show that opens this Thursday, March 28th, in Aljezur.

The new circus is back on the Lavrar o Mar schedule during this Easter weekend.

This time, the guest company is the Belgian Les Vélocimanes Associés, which presents a solo, which they define as lively and liberating. “Der Lauf” takes place in a dark and intimate atmosphere, with an aesthetic that oscillates between the universe of David Lynch and Intervilles, a French comedy television program from the 60s.

The show is presented at Espaço Multiusos de Aljezur from the 28th to the 30th of March, from Thursday to Saturday, at 21pm, and repeats on Easter Sunday, at 00pm.

“Der Lauf” lasts 60 minutes and is recommended for children over 8 years old.

Tickets cost 10 euros for adults and 5 euros for children aged 8 to 11 and are on sale here
