Lagos hosts Cyclin'Portugal Forum

The fifth Cyclin'Portugal Forum's main objective is to publicize the Cyclin'Portugal network

The fifth edition of the Cyclin'Portugal Forum, the largest national meeting around tourism development based on bicycles and recreational cycling, will take place on the 19th and 20th of April, in Lagos.

A place accustomed to the strong emotions and international projection provided by the Volta ao Algarve, Lagos will welcome specialists in active mobility, tourist agents and political decision-makers from across the country. The prospects and opportunities for recreational cycling and bicycle tourism will be discussed.

It is the first time that the Forum, organized by the Portuguese Cycling Federation, takes place in the Algarve, following a policy of decentralization and connection to the entire national territory.

The fifth Cyclin'Portugal Forum's main objective is to publicize the Cyclin'Portugal network, which is why the presentation of the Cyclin'Portugal Yearbook, a major guide to Portugal's cycling routes, on April 19th is part of the program.

It will also be an opportunity to train and refresh knowledge for technicians who work at the centers and route networks.

The Cyclin'Portugal Forum will also allow agents, protagonists and technicians in the area of ​​bicycle tourism to reflect on present and future challenges and ways to enhance territories through qualified cycling routes.
