A man who shot another man with a firearm in the early hours of yesterday, Friday, in Albufeira, was arrested by the Judiciary Police for attempted murder.
According to the Southern Directorate of the PJ, the investigation revealed that in the early hours of this Friday, «following an argument, apparently for futile reasons, the now detained man allegedly attacked a person using a firearm, coming then running away”.
The victim had to be taken to the Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Algarve, «where he has been hospitalized to this day».
Present at the first judicial interrogation, the suspect was detained in preventive custody.
