European Elections: Housing, inclusion and citizenship are topics of debate in the Algarve

Within the scope of the “United for Democracy” initiative

Quality of life, housing, inclusion and citizenship and participation are the themes of four debates that will be promoted in different locations in the Algarve, until May, within the scope of the “United for Democracy” initiative, which aims to promote civic participation and encourage voting in European elections on June 9th.

The next debate, on the topic “Quality of Life”, will take place tomorrow, March 27th, at Clube de Tavira, in this city, moderated by Ademar Dias, from Rádio Horizonte.

On April 12th, the theme will be “Housing” and the debate will take place, like all the others, from 18 pm, at the facilities of Faro from the Portuguese Institute of Sports and Youth (IPDJ), moderated by social mediator Kátia Oliveira.

The debate on “Inclusion” is scheduled for April 26th, at FNAC da Guia, in Albufeira. The moderator will be Roberto Leandro.

The last debate of this cycle will take place on May 24th, at Aqua de Portimão, will be moderated by Bruno António (Dypall) and will focus on the theme “Citizenship and Participation”.

«We target all citizens but we want to give a voice and space especially to the youngest (18 -35 years old), who in the last European Elections, in 2019, were those who voted least, particularly in the Algarve», according to the Algarve Center Europe Direct.
