Expensive Soul, Hybrid Theory and GNR. These are the three names that will perform from the 28th to the 30th of March, at the “Albufeira Sea Fest”, at Praça and Praia dos Pescadores.
This will be the third edition of the event that celebrates youth and families to the sound of music, entertainment and an attractive program full of activities for young people. Entry is free on all three days, with openings at 28pm on the 15th and 00am on the following days, always closing at midnight.
The Expensive Soul concert will be on the 28th, Hybrid Theory will be on the 29th, and GNR will be on the 30th.
The event, scheduled for the Easter school break, is organized by the Municipality of Albufeira in partnership with the Parish Council of Albufeira and Olhos de Água and seeks, during this time of year, to bring together parents and children in recreational activities, as well as revitalize the sense of community, by valuing local artists and businesses.
Over the three days there are surfing demonstrations and contests, bmx, online, sup, skateboarding, concerts, gastronomy, family activities, inflatables, specific areas for children to have fun and the presentation of artistic projects.
There will also be local bands such as Subtil, Quiassaca & Wavy, No Time to Waste, Ben & The Pirates, Daniel Vargas and Os Naira.
«Albufeira Sea Fest' is more than a celebration. It is an affirmation of the effort and investment in the youth of Albufeira. Over the years we have seen this event grow and become an anchor moment in Albufeira's cultural calendar, attracting hundreds of tourists to the municipality at this time of year», explained the president of Albufeira City Council, José Carlos Rolo.
Cristiano Cabrita, vice-president and councilor responsible for Sports and Youth and Associations, argues that «this is an event that aims to promote the musical and artistic talent of young people from Albufeira, celebrate their achievements and achievements and demonstrate the work of sports associations of the municipality”.
