50 years of the 25th of April: Loulé opens exhibition by Fernando Pinheiro

The exhibition is part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April

The exhibition “Painting / Freedom / 50 of 25 – Representation in Painting, of the State of Nations”, by artist Fernando Pinheiro, opens this Friday, March 22nd, at 18pm, at the Art Gallery of Convento do Espírito Santo , in Loulé.

Fernando Pinheiro was born in Lisbon (1947), passed through Africa, lived in Paris in the 70s and part of the 80s of the 80th century. Still in the XNUMXs, he chose the Algarve to live, continuing his coexistence here with artists he had met in Paris, such as René Bértholo and Manuel Baptista.

Curated by Miguel Cheta, the exhibition can be visited until May 25th, from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:00 am to 13:30 pm and from 14:30 pm to 18:00 pm.

The exhibition is part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April.

Admission is free.
