Portimão hosts the 1st bootcamp of the “Skills of the future Algarve” program

The activity takes place between 11am and 00pm

The Portimão Hotel and Tourism School will host the 1st Bootcamp of the “Skills of the Future Algarve” program, under the theme “Leadership & Team Management – ​​the challenges of Talent Acquisition and Management in Tourism”, on the 21st of February .

The activity, which takes place between 11am and 00pm, aims to «provide businesspeople, entrepreneurs and managers in the region's tourism sector with practical tools and knowledge for attracting, retaining and developing talent», explains the organization.

This free, in-person training is part of the program recently launched by Turismo de Portugal and the Algarve Tourism Region.

The first phase of the program will take place between February and May, with training mainly carried out online, but will also include some bootcamps at the Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo de Portimão.

After the leadership and management bootcamp, on March 18th there is one on “Development of Management Skills, Innovation, Marketing and Digital Literacy”, on April 16th the theme is “How to Provide Differentiating and Excellent Tourist Experiences” and on May 7th there is talk of “Innovative approaches for sustainable management of water resources”.
