The regional march-race returned to Castro Marim on Sunday, February 4th, and was attended by more than 600 people.
The race had two routes with different degrees of difficulty, the first being 10 kilometers, through the Sapal Natural Reserve, and the second being 3,5 kilometers through Vista Real.
According to the Municipality of Castro Marim, this event brings together «unique characteristics for direct contact with fauna and flora», with the aim of «contributing to the development of physical exercise and good health habits, in addition to creating bonds of friendship and solidarity”.
The event was part of the Algarve's regional walking and running calendar and was organized by the Castro Marim City Council, the Portuguese Institute of Sports and Youth and the National Plan for Ethics in Sports.
