Farense lost 0-1 against Moreirense in the 23rd round of the I Football League, played this Saturday, February 24th, at the São Luís Stadium, in Faro.
The Algarve team did not play a good game and, essentially in the first half, they were dominated by Moreirense who knew how to be the better team.
José Mota made two changes in relation to the defeat at Sporting de Braga: Falcão and Marco Matias left for Fabrício and Rafael Barbosa.
The first goal came in the 29th minute by Madson. After a throw, the ball fell to Camacho who watched the Brazilian winger. The first shot was saved by Ricardo Velho, but, on the rebound, Madson scored.
Life became even more complicated for Farense in the 34th minute due to the expulsion of Mattheus Oliveira, in a move in which the Brazilian was reckless and made a hard foul on Fabiano.
In the second half, Farense still reacted… but without creating any great scoring opportunities.
With this defeat, the Algarve team have now gone five games without winning and maintain the same 26 points, occupying 9th place. In the next round, Farense travels to Sporting's ground, on Sunday, at 18 pm.
