The Loulé Children's Carnival, which was scheduled for this Friday morning, February 9th, was canceled due to the forecast of rain.
«Unfortunately, this parade that brings together more than 5 thousand children from public schools and the social sector will not take place, as heavy rain is expected and we want to preserve our children and the costumes they prepared, as they gave them a lot of work» , said the Loulé Chamber this Wednesday.
The party will now take place in schools.
In a note, this municipality highlights that «the Loulé Children's Carnival is already one of the largest Children's Carnival parades in the country, not only because of the number of participants, but also because of the way it is experienced, within a community in which this festivity is a very deep-rooted tradition».
