The Teia d’Impulsos association will organize four gatherings, as part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April, and the first will take place on the 26th of January.
The gatherings will always take place on Fridays, at 19pm, at Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes.
The first talk takes place on the 26th of January on “Aging and Mental Health”, in order to understand the impact of aging on mental health in the Algarve region, what is the state of institutions responding to these problems and what initiatives exist in the community that promote active aging.
Joining the conversation are guests Maria do Carmo Cruz, regional coordinator of Mental Health for the Algarve Region of Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Algarve, Iola Fernandes, general director of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Castro Marim and technical director of the José Cabrita Residential Structure. – Alzheimer's and other dementias, and Luísa Martins, president of the Associação Espiral de Vontades, based in Monchique.
Moderation will be in charge of Elisabete Rodrigues, newspaper director Sul Informação, and the event will also be broadcast live on Teia D’Impulsos’ Facebook.
The Teia D’Ideias gatherings have the support of the Municipality of Portimão and Delta Cafés.
