The Municipality of Silves expressed this Friday, January 12th, its deep regret over the death of José Belarmino Costa, former president of the Parish Council of Tunes.
José Belarmino Costa, who served as president of the Parish Council of Tunes in the 1990-1993 municipal mandate, elected by the Unitarian Democratic Coalition (CDU), died at the age of 90.
«As a mayor highly committed to his mission, association leader, railway worker and upstanding citizen, he leaves memories and acts that will perpetuate his memory among the population of his homeland and local administration bodies», emphasizes the Municipality of Silves.
To the widow, son, daughter-in-law, other family members and friends, this municipality leaves “the most heartfelt condolences”.
