Loulé: Carnival Store opens its doors this Thursday

The cost of renting the suits is 10 euros

The Loulé Carnival Store, operating on Rua de São Paulo, next to the car park, opens to the public this Thursday, 1st February, and closes on the 16th.

In this space you will be able to wear costumes to wear during the parade or at the many dances and parties that will take place in the municipality these days.

The rental cost is 10 euros, but you must leave a deposit of 20 euros.

The Loulé Carnival Store will be open from Monday to Sunday, from 10am to 00:19pm.

Created by the seamstresses at the Municipal Sewing Atelier, these costumes portray the themes that, over the years, have made up the posters of this corso.

«In addition to publicizing this important historical legacy of the municipality, this initiative aims to encourage the revelry spirit of visitors and their participation in this season's festivities program», explains Loulé City Council.

The Loulé Carnival 2024 takes place on the 11th, 12th and 13th of February, on Avenida José da Costa Mealha), under the motto “Discovering the SDGs”.

On the night of February 12th, at 22pm, in the Loulé Party Hall, the Grand Carnival Ball “À Precura do OPDS 00!” will take place, with musical entertainment provided by Fora D'Horas and Ganda Banda.
