Jason Marques is the new general director of the Tivoli Alvor Algarve Resort Hotel, which will reopen on March 21st.
An experienced hotelier, Jason Marques has a vast international background in hotel chains in Asia, Africa and Europe.
Jason Marques will be responsible for managing the resort and team operations.

Graduated in Sustainable Tourism from INUAF – Instituto Superior Dom Afonso III, Jason Marques started in the Hotel Industry in 2003, at Pine Cliffs a Luxury Collection Hotel & Resort, in the Algarve.
Nine years later, he headed to Algeria, remaining within the Starwood Hotels & Resorts group, to perform the role of Front Office Manager at Le Meridien Oran Hotel & Convention Centre, but quickly became Director of Rooms & Green Belt.
Still in Algeria, he moved to the Sheraton Club des Pins Hotel & Resort, as Director of Rooms. In 2016, he accepted the role of Executive Assistant General Manager at Le Meridien Fishermans Cove in the Seychelles.
In 2018 he visited the Asian continent, as Resort manager at Constance Halaveli Maldives. In 2020 he returned to the Seychelles islands to open a new resort with the Marriott company, as General Manager and Owners Representative.
In 2023, he took on roles at Marriott International's head office in London, as Senior Manager Franchise Operations Europe, Africa & Middle East, being responsible for 116 hotels in southern Europe.
