Until the 16th of February, the Shipwreck Relief Institute has opened a competition to hire five lifeboat crew for the stations of Sagres (two), Tavira (two) and Olhão (one).
This competition is open to citizens between 18 and 35 years old, with a 12th grade or equivalent and who meet the medical, physical and psychological requirements.

«Candidates must access the Competitions area on the National Maritime Authority page, fill out the documents made available and follow all the steps necessary to complete the recruitment process, and can also consult all legislation and information relating to the competition», explained the National Maritime Authority.
At national level, a total of 19 vacancies are open for «jobs on the civilian personnel map of the Shipwrecked Relief Institute, belonging to the special career of lifeboat crew».
