The Territorial Command of Faro of the GNR holds the military ceremony commemorating Unity Day, on January 29th, at 10:40 am, on Avenida dos Descobrimentos, in Lagos.
The military ceremony will be presided over by the general commander of the National Republican Guard, Lieutenant General Rui Alberto Ribeiro Veloso, and will also be attended by other military and civil entities.
During the ceremony, decorations will be imposed and tributes will be paid to deceased soldiers.
As part of the celebrations of the Unity Day of the Territorial Command of Faro Other events will also be held, such as the exhibition of equipment / kinesthetic and equestrian demonstration, at Escola da Ameijeira, in Lagos, on the 24th of January, at 9:30 am, and on the 26th, at Escola Santa Maria, also at 9:30 am.
On the 27th, at 18:00 pm, there will be a religious ceremony, at the Church of Santa Maria, in Lagos, and on the 28th, at 17:00 pm, the GNR Chamber Orchestra concert, at the Lagos Cultural Center.
