Fado singer Sara Correia will give a concert at the Maria Barroso Municipal Auditorium, in Olhão, on February 10th, at 21:30 pm, and tickets are now on sale.
The mentor of “The Voice Portugal” and performer of Quero é viver, original by António Variações that gave the title to one of TVI's most recent soap operas, arrives in Olhão to present her unmistakable style of singing fado.
Sara Correia is a regular presence in the best fado houses in the city of Lisbon and started very early, having grown up in a fado family. At just 13 years old, she won the Grande Noite do Fado in Lisbon and it was at that moment that she decided that fado would be her life.
In September 2018, he released his debut album, the eponymous “Sara Correia”, followed, in 2020, by “Do Coração”, his second studio album.
“ Quero é Viver ” was released at the beginning of 2022 and in October 2023 the path comes to “Liberdade”, the fado singer’s third album, which begins with “Chelas”, the single written by Carolina Deslandes that pays homage to the neighborhood that saw Sara to grow.
