The Portimão School of Hotel and Tourism is now accepting applications for its sommelier course, which starts next Tuesday, January 23rd.
There will be 300 hours of training distributed across modules, in a course designed especially for professionals in the restaurant and beverage sector.
The Sommelier Course, which will end in December, «intends to train participants in the tasks of organizing and managing the wine cellar, stocks, quality control and costs», says the organization.
In addition to this, students are provided with «a vast knowledge of the main national and international wines, recognizing the world's leading producers, being able to advise, create and serve different types of simple and compound drinks».
Registrations are being made at the Digital Academy of Tourism in Portugal, through the link Scanning Course – Escolas Turismo de Portugal.
