Docapesca launches mobile application “Alagem Digital”

Presentation takes place this Saturday, at 15:30 pm, at Boot Dusseldorf

Docapesca has just launched a new mobile application, “Alagem Digital”, which will be presented this Saturday, at 15:30 pm, at Boot Dusseldorf, in the presence of Secretary of State for Fisheries Teresa Coelho.

In a note, Docapesca emphasizes that the new application «will contribute to simplifying and standardizing the reservation management processes of the public service for launching vessels – raising and lowering water – in the shipyards under the company's jurisdiction».

The application also allows vessel owners, ship repair yards and other port users to “carry out all the procedures necessary to reserve haulage services in different geographic locations, without the need to travel to the location”.

According to Docapesca, in the first phase, the app is available for the shipyards of Azurara (Vila do Conde), port of Nazaré, Setúbal and Rio Arade (Lagoa).

In the future, it may also be licensed to other port administrations or concessionaires of these services outside Docapesca's jurisdiction areas.

The new tool is available for Android and iOS systems.
