CinemaLua presents recent premieres in São Brás de Alportel

Until the end of January

CinemaLua will bring to the São Brás de Alportel Volunteer Firefighters pavilion «the best of current national and international cinema in recent and very recent premieres», throughout the month of January.

In the first month of 2024, five films will be shown, always on Tuesdays, at 19:15 pm, in the firefighters' pavilion.

Today, the 2nd, the film “Rabiye Kurnaz vs. George W. Bush”, a film by Andreas Dresen that officially premiered in Portugal on August 10th.

This will be followed, on the 9th, by a special session, under the heading “Reference Works”, with the screening of the film “My name is Alfred Hitchcock”, directed by Mark Cousins ​​and whose national premiere took place on the 16th of November.

On the 16th, the public can count on the work “Folhas Caídas”, by Aki Kaurismäki, whose premiere will take place on January 11th.

CinemaLua's program for January is completed with the films “Green Border – Exclusion Zone”, by Agnieszka Holland (premiere on December 1st), and “Ida”, by Pawel Pawlikowski (end of distribution on February 17th), which can be seen on the 23rd and 30th, respectively.
