The Silves Capital da Laranja Exhibition takes place from the 16th to the 18th of February, at Fissul, and will have concerts by Gisela João, Carolina Deslandes and Serafim.
The first show will be by Gisela João (the 16th), followed by Carolina Deslandes (the 17th), Luís Simenta and the comedian Serafim (the 18th).
Before that, there will be a presentation by local artists Helena Silva (16th) and André Guerreiro (18th).
The exhibition opens its doors on February 16th at 10:00 am, with the official opening scheduled for 10:30 am.
Present will be several dozen exhibitors linked to citrus farming, wines, agriculture, regional products, sweets, crafts and gastronomy, not forgetting the local associative community and various regional entities.
Water resources management will be a topic of debate at the Orange XXI Conference, which this year is presented in a renewed format and aims to give a voice to farmers and this sector of activity of special importance for the municipality of Silves.
As a new feature, there will be the “Classic & Flairbartending” National Final, integrated into the National Cocktail Competition, which will determine the national champions of the aforementioned modalities who will represent Portugal in the next World Cocktail Championship 2024.
This edition, whose program will be presented in detail in due course, will also bring other highlights such as the showcooking, the Valentine's march, the performance of various traditional music and dance groups.
During the event, another edition of the “Weekend with Orange Flavor” will take place in participating restaurants in the city of Silves, with the presentation of very diverse menus, always with the Silves orange present.
