The Chamber of Faro will carry out a public market consultation to purchase up to 146 homes for public housing.
This initiative results from the addition to the collaboration agreement with the Institute of Housing and Urban Rehabilitation (IHRU), under the 1st Law – Support Program for Access to Housing, a document approved at a chamber meeting on December 27th, which This allows the revision of the Local Housing Strategy of the Municipality of Faro – 2018/2030.
Through this public market consultation, the Municipality of Faro intends to acquire up to 146 homes already built, under construction or to be built, intended for public housing, within the scope of the Municipality's Local Housing Strategy, which meet the requirements.
To this end, the Municipality of Faro intends to obtain financing to carry out an investment estimated at around 31.380.350 euros from the IHRU.
Among the 146 homes, the Municipality of Faro intends to acquire up to a total of 30 dwellings of the T1 type, 53 of the T2 type, 53 of the T3 type and 10 of the T4 type, already built, under construction or to be built, in conditions of immediate use.
The houses must be in the municipality of Faro, regularly described and registered in the urban property matrix and in the land register, equipped with a use license or certificate proving that the building is exempt from use authorization, if applicable, completely free and unoccupied with people and goods and free from any encumbrances or charges on the date of conclusion of the purchase and sale contract.
Any natural person or legal person who, alternatively: owns the properties subject to candidacy, may submit proposals within the scope of this real estate market consultation; be an agent or act under the owner's power of attorney; be a proven licensed real estate brokerage company.
Proposals must be submitted within 20 calendar days, from the date of publication of the announcement opening the same market consultation, in accordance with the conditions that can be consulted here
