“From the mortar altarpiece of the Convent of Santo António dos Capuchos to the ornate platbands of Loulé: from the interior stuccos to the exterior mortar ornaments” is the name of the next conference “Loulé in the timeline”, presented by Marta Santos, at the Municipal Professor Archive Joaquim Romero Magalhães, on January 20th, at 15 pm, at the Convento de Santo António, in Loulé.

From the beautiful lime and plaster mortar altarpiece (built around 1770-1790), found in the chapel of the Third Order, in the church of the former Convent of Santo António dos Capuchos in Loulé, it will be possible to see some of the iconographic elements used in the interiors of the religious architecture and which remained, over time, in the ornamentation of the exterior facades of the civil architecture of the municipality of Loulé.
