Presenting assessments, conclusions and the needs identified so far by the Competence Center for the Fight Against Desertification (CCDesert) is the objective of the event “Km 0 of Desertification”, which will take place in the Main Hall of the Alcoutim Chamber, on the 29th of January, at 14pm.
The session, promoted by the Chamber of Alcoutim, in collaboration with the CUMEADAS Association (Association of Forest Owners of Cumeadas do Baixo Guadiana), aims to «present balances, conclusions and identified needs, so that, in this challenging period, the Competence Center can continue its activity, adapting it to regional needs, resources and motivations of its members».
«During this public session, we will have the opportunity to clarify issues and listen to suggestions. How can we, based on the work already carried out and future actions, contribute to planning a prosperous future for the interior? This is a crucial question that we wish to explore together», according to Alcoutim Chamber.
