98 detainees and 403 infractions detected in the first week of the year by the GNR

98 detainees, 403 traffic violations detected and 126 accidents recorded is the balance of the GNR's operational activity between the 1st and 7th of January. 

Of the 98 arrests, the guard highlights 43 for driving under the influence of alcohol, 22 for driving without a legal license and 11 for drug trafficking.

During this period, 74 doses of hashish, six bottles of nitrous oxide, two knives, a brass knuckle, a cell phone and several pieces of clothing and footwear were also seized.

Of the infractions detected, 206 were related to speeding, 43 were related to anomalies in lighting and signaling systems, 42 were due to lack of mandatory periodic inspection, 28 were due to improper use of a cell phone while driving, 11 were due to lack of civil liability insurance. and seven due to lack of or incorrect use of a seat belt and/or child restraint system.

Dos 126 accidents resulted in one death, one serious injury and 26 minor injuries.
