Tradition and creativity for Christmas are the proposals at Feira da Serra in Loulé

The objective is to publicize the cultural richness of the mountains, particularly Serra do Caldeirão, through its food products, crafts, gastronomy and culture

Loulé hosts, from the 8th to the 10th of December, another edition of the Feira da Serra de Natal, an initiative that will take place in the building of the former Carnival warehouse, next to the Convent of Santo António.

The event aims to make visitors aware of the cultural richness of the mountains, particularly Serra do Caldeirão, through its food products, crafts, gastronomy and culture.

It will feature around a hundred exhibitors who will bring genuine products from the Algarve interior to Loulé.

On the other hand, this is an excellent opportunity to purchase original and unique Christmas gifts, creative proposals from local artisans, contributing with this gesture to the local economy.

The fair will feature traveling entertainment from the duo “Ti Marquinhas and Ti Gregório” and the “Christmas Elves da Luza Tripp”, as well as the performance of Charolas from Grupo Amigos de Loulé, accordionists Filipe Romão and Mito Algarvio and the groups musicals Beira Serra and ALLCANTE.

The event will also include a space for younger children, with various activities such as “Playing and Learning” and children's workshops from Loulé Criativo, dedicated to palm, wood, tapestry and cork manufacturing.

The fair takes place on Friday and Saturday (8th and 9th December), from 10:00 am to 21:00 pm, and on Sunday (10th), from 12:00 pm to 20:00 pm.

This is another of the initiatives promoted by Loulé City Council as part of the 2023 Christmas Entertainment Program.

Admission is free.
