The Municipality of Tavira delivered around 1000 Christmas hampers to vulnerable families living in the municipality's six parishes.

This action stems from the Chamber's “genuine” desire to “provide the most vulnerable with a decent supper on Christmas Eve”.

With this initiative, the municipality wants to “help with the immediate needs of socially disadvantaged individuals and families”.
