A 40-year-old man arrested on December 18th, in Albufeira, for robbery using a bladed weapon was remanded in custody.
According to the GNR, the arrest occurred following two robberies committed in the first week of December, with the Guard military carrying out a series of investigative measures to identify the suspect.
It was found that the man took advantage of nightlife areas to select his victims, two men and a woman, between 25 and 57 years old, «following them to a location that was more favorable for the robberies».
After being detained, the suspect was presented at the Portimão Judicial Court and the coercive measure of preventive detention was applied to him.
