Young people from AIPAR carry out activities with the Maritime and Marine Authority

Baptisms at sea and visits to the NRP Orion ship and the Farol of Cabo de Santa Maria were some of the activities

Young people from the Association for the Protection of Girls and Families (AIPAR), based in Faro, carried out activities this Thursday, December 28th, with the National Maritime Authority and the Navy, through the Southern Maritime Department and the Southern Maritime Zone Command. 

​During the activities, the young women had the opportunity to learn about the work done by the National Maritime Authority and the Navy, having carried out baptisms at sea and visits to the ship NRP Orion, at the Farol of Cabo de Santa Maria, on Culatra Island, and the Almirante Ramalho Ortigão Maritime Museum.

AIPAR is a social inclusion and residential care institution whose mission is to “Protect and promote the rights of young girls and support and empower families, respecting differences”.
