Crafts, regional products, concerts and lots of entertainment make up the Aljezur Christmas Fair, which takes place on the 8th, 9th and 10th of December, at Espaço Multiusos.
Organized by Tertúlia – Associação Sócio Cultural de Aljezur, this fair aims to «promote the best that is done locally, highlighting local artisans and promoting the circular economy».
In addition to regional products, healthy food and a poster with local artists, over the course of three days, visitors will be able to explore a huge variety of crafts, from wood, weaving, handmade candles, natural cosmetics, medicinal herbs, pottery, designer jewelry , illustration, leather, upcycling decoration, basketry, rugs, games, gourmet mushrooms, cheeses and much more.
«We believe it is an excellent opportunity to find original gifts with artistic and ecological value, avoiding mass-market products from large shopping centers», says the organization in a note.
Furthermore, the fair program includes activities for the whole family such as dance classes, musical performances of different styles, reggae, Brazilian music, hip-hop soul fusion and rock.
There will also be plenty of food and drinks, with homemade snacks, German sausages, crepes, sweets, hot chocolate and traditional mulled wine.
