Christmas has come to an end and that means it's time to start thinking about New Year's Eve. From Sotavento to Barlavento there are several programs available.
For those who are still looking for solutions for the end of the year, the Sul Informação brought together nine programs starting at 50 euros.
Anantara
Located in Vilamoura, Anantara presents a “black and gold” themed night on New Year's Eve, welcome drinks in the lobby, followed by a buffet banquet of local and international delicacies at Victoria.
Starting with classic salads and fine charcuterie, guests will be treated to seafood and sushi options and “live stations” that include roast beef, suckling pig and cataplana.
Main courses include teriyaki salmon, barbecue ribs and roast veal, followed by a range of desserts such as tangerine meringue tart, Algarve orange roll and a chocolate fountain.
Younger guests also have a personalized sweet and savory buffet.
New Year's dinner costs 215 euros per adult with a selection of Anantara drinks and 75 euros per child aged 4 to 12.

AP Eva Senses
Em Faro, the AP Eva Senses prepared a special program with an End of Year Gala Dinner, live ambient music, a tasting menu and a bar open until 2am.
In addition, there is a New Year's Lunch and a Special Package with accommodation included.
The price of the gala dinner is 185 euros per person and the New Year's Lunch costs 50 euros, both with drinks included. In accommodation packages, there is the possibility of opting for 2 or 3 nights, with double occupancy, from 325 euros.

At the five-star Vale D’Oliveiras resort, ideal for families, in Carvoeiro, or at the Aqua Pedra dos Bicos hotel, in Albufeira, more aimed at adults, the Details Hotels & Resorts group has New Year's Eve programs.
Designed to avoid all the hassle of parties, these hotels suggest programs with set menus and/or buffets with traditional Portuguese and international dishes and live entertainment.
New Year's programs cost from 150 euros per person (including drinks) and include a fireworks show. There are also special prices for children.

At Domes Lake Algarve, in Vilamoura, the New Year is welcomed with an exclusive dinner in the hotel's fine dining restaurant.
Topos suggests a five-course tasting menu: a welcome drink precedes the starter of Foie Gras, pain d’épice and clementine, followed by Cod Ravioli and roe, grilled shrimp and lemon cream.
In the meat suggestion, the veal Tornedó with rosemary and truffled potato foam and, to finish, a Dark Chocolate and Pistachio dessert.
The last dinner of the year is accompanied by live music and guests are invited to welcome 2024 at the Raw Bar, with entertainment from a DJ, starting at 22pm, and a fireworks show at 00 chimes.
Guests can also choose to dine at the Gustatio buffet restaurant, which presents varied suggestions for the farewell to 2023 such as octopus salad, whelk salad, octopus à lagareiro and cod with cornbread, but also Mediterranean-inspired dishes such as Greek salad, Medallion of veal with truffle sauce and mushroom risotto.
They are then invited to join the party at the resort's bar, to welcome the new year with Portuguese sparkling wine.
The program at the Topos Restaurant costs 180 euros per person and at the Gustatio buffet 100 euros per person. Children pay half of this amount.
To enter 2024 with a bang, there is a Brunch at the Topos restaurant with gastronomic proposals that anticipate next year's menu.

Jupiter Algarve Hotel
The Jupiter Algarve Hotel, in Portimão, is preparing a themed New Year's Eve inspired by the Arabian Nights.
Tartlet with cod mousse, grouper loin, chunk of veal are the chef's suggestions and, to finish, before 12 strikes, oriental cheesecake with raspberry ice cream and pistachio crown.
There is also a toast at midnight, live music, entertainment and a buffet supper.
The package proposed by Jupiter Algarve Hotel includes a two-night stay, New Year's Eve dinner and New Year's brunch.

Pine Cliffs Resort
At Pine Cliffs, a luxury resort located in Albufeira, on Falésia Beach, there is an adults-only party that includes a menu, open bar and supper.
The night will be lively with live DJ performance and New Year's decorations. Guests will also have exclusive access to the upperdeck do Maré to celebrate midnight with a champagne toast. The price of this program is 295 euros per person.
For those looking for a more intimate celebration, MIMO could be an option. The farewell to 2023 takes place with an exclusive edition of the Chef’s Table dinner (for adults only) which includes an eight-course menu and wine pairing. Midnight will be celebrated at the Mirador Champanhe Bar, in the middle of the Algarve cliffs, with a champagne toast, for 325 euros per person.
In the Sala São Rafael, a space overlooking the Pine Cliffs Resort gardens, a festive buffet will be available that includes a selection of salads, cold starters and soup. In addition to the main dishes, Beef Wellington and Sea Bass Papillote, a selection of desserts and drinks will also be served, for 160 euros.
With a more familiar atmosphere, the restaurant O Pescador invites you to celebrate the last dinner of the year with a festive à la carte menu in which the chef suggests, among many other options, Ria Formosa Oysters (24 euros) as a starter, Lobster rice and scallops (135 euros for two people) as a main course and lychee and rose mousse (13 euros) for dessert.
For those who prefer a buffet dinner option with a wider range of options, the Jardim Colonial will serve a New Year's Buffet that includes a selection of salads and cold starters, Beef Wellington and Sea Bass Papillote as main dishes and a variety of traditional sweets for dessert (98 euros). The little ones will have, in the Children's Corner, mini burgers, baked pasta and chocolate brownies.
The Piri Piri restaurant also joins the celebrations by offering à la carte suggestions between 18pm and 00:23pm. At midnight, guests are invited to ring in the New Year with a champagne toast and fireworks in the central gardens of Pine Cliffs Resort.

As is already a tradition in the events calendar, Solverde organizes programs to celebrate the beginning of a new year in a festive atmosphere.
At its units, hotels and casinos, the Group presents a special New Year's Eve program, including New Year's Eve Dinner, New Year's Brunch and Accommodation Programs.
At Casino Vilamoura there is a New Year's Eve Gala Dinner in the Miralago Room with entertainment (Night Joker Band, Night Stars and Dancing Soul) for 200 euros per person.
Now the Casino Monte Gordo there is a New Year's Eve Gala Dinner at the Oceano Room with entertainment (Slot Machines Band / Banda 2002) for 130 euros per person.

VidaMar Algarve
VidaMar Algarve, the PBH Group's five-star resort, in Albufeira, next to Salgados beach, also prepared a New Year's Eve offer to celebrate the entry into the new year.
The program includes two nights' accommodation in a prestige double room, resort view, gala buffet dinner and breakfast with extended opening hours until noon, on January 1st, from 616 euros per person.
From 19:30 pm on December 31st, guests are welcomed at the Lobby Bar with a welcome cocktail, DJ Set, dance show and performing arts.
The entertainment continues until 20:30 pm, when the gala buffet dinner will be served at the Ocean Restaurant, accompanied by a special selection of drinks and live music. The countdown to entry in 2024 starts at 23:30 pm, next to the pool. With sparkling wine and raisins, as tradition dictates, the arrival of the new year will be accompanied by fireworks.
The party continues, starting at 00:20 and until 03:00 in the morning to the sounds of DJ Set, in the Le Palmeraie space. New Year's dinner will be served at around 01:00.

W Algarve
Located on the cliff in Galé, in Albufeira, the W Algarve decides to close the year with a bang.
For the last days of the year, New Year's Eve activities begin on the 29th and 30th of December, with the “Festive Wine Tasting” (45 euros) at Vino by Paper Moon, the hotel's latest space entirely dedicated to gastronomy. Still on the 30th, the DJ Academy (20 euros) teaches all the tricks for electronic music beginners to have fun and understand the basics needed for a show.
The main highlight of this calendar is the dinners on December 31st.
Presented as “The Last of 2023”, the dinners take place at the Mediterranean Market Kitchen (195 euros) and at the Italians Vino by Paper Moon (245 euros and 85 euros wine pairing) and Paper Moon (225 euros), the latter already sold out.
With different menus, the three spaces host W Algarve's New Year's Eve dinners. The party will continue at House of Style, where midnight will be spent listening to local DJs (Westvil, K. Bizz, Tiger Lewis) between the W Lounge and W Studios.
The first day of January begins with a Black Out Brunch (110 euros) between 13pm and 15:30pm, where sunglasses, robes, slippers and wireless headphones will be handed out that will allow guests to dance to the sound of resident DJ PIPPA.
Day 1 ends with a sea view and good music. From 15pm onwards, the first sunset of the year is celebrated at Sea Sky.
