A man died this Saturday, the 30th, following a collision between a light vehicle and a bicycle, on Estrada Nacional (EN) 2, in Castro Verde (Beja), Civil Protection and GNR sources told the Lusa agency.
A source from the Baixo Alentejo Sub-Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command indicated that the alert for the accident on the EN2, at kilometer 633, was given at 16:34 pm and that the fatal victim was a man who was riding a bicycle.
Sources from the Baixo Alentejo Sub-Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command and the GNR explained that it was not yet possible to determine the age of the fatal victim.
11 operatives were mobilized to the site, supported by five vehicles, including firefighters, the GNR, and the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM), with the Emergency and Resuscitation Medical Vehicle (VMER) and an Immediate Support ambulance. de Vida (SIV), both from Castro Verde.
