Algarve Market Network is betting on new strategies to attract customers… and sellers

The objective is to make markets more attractive to customers and sellers, bringing more people there

 

The Algarve Regional Market Network, which, in the first phase, involves 18 of these structures in eight municipalities, is now fully operational.

The presentation, which took place at the Silves Municipal Market, recently the subject of extensive renovation work as part of this project, was attended by mayors, authorities, representatives of the 18 markets and network promoters.

O Sul Informação spoke with some of the main people responsible for this project, financed by PADRE – Action Plan for the Development of Endogenous Resources: Márcio Viegas, president of the Vicentina association, José Apolinário, president of CCDR Algarve, Pedro Valadas Monteiro, regional director of Agriculture, and also with Tito Coelho, president of the Parish Council of Silves, the entity responsible for managing and promoting the market in this Algarve city.
