Saint Martin's Day will once again be celebrated throughout the municipality of Albufeira, on the 11th of November, with wine, chestnut and music tastings.
In the Parish of Paderne, “Magusto 23” takes place from 15pm to 00pm, at Praça Comendador António Libânio, with a musical performance by Marco Gomes. Visitors to the historic village can also enjoy roasted chestnuts and sample the region's wines.
In Ferreiras, the Complexo Desportivo da Nora car park opens its doors at 19pm to offer roasted chestnuts and the famous jeropiga, as well as new wine and açaí. The animation is in charge of Emanuel, Tânia and Ruth Marlene.
In Albufeira there is the “Bairro em Festa” at Quinta da Palmeira. From 15pm to 00pm, there is music by Nuno Baldim and Miguel Correia, activities for children, traditional games, a Capoeira demonstration, inflatables and lots of “hot and good” chestnuts.
In Olhos de Água, the chestnut festival is on the 11th and 12th and will take place at the Olhos de Água Municipal Market. On the 11th, the party takes place to the sound of Ruben Palma, and on the 12th, Marco Dias is in charge of the entertainment, with a repertoire of popular music.
In the Parish of Guia, the magusto takes place from 16pm to 00pm, at the Municipal Market. There will be a wine display, roasted chestnuts and entertainment is guaranteed with the performance of accordionist André Gonçalves.
